Day 46: On the morning of Day 47...

Greetings from Ephrata, PA...

There is not a lot to blog about from yesterday. We drove all day from Sturbridge, MA to Ephrata... the GPS plotted a route through New York City and Newark, NJ... as we crossed the river into Yonkers, the traffic became a crawl... I rerouted us back through West Point which put us on some back-country roads that were unbelievably beautiful!

We saw some gorgeous mansions and some of the prettiest foliage we have seen thus far... well worth the extra time it took for the trip.

Today we are going to spend more time in a historical society to do more research on my ancestors...

Tomorrow, we should be in Kentucky (are you excited Joy?).

Thought maybe you were going to stay in the other Portland to let your "liberal" side come out more. Now that you have been to the "dark side" are you considering voting for Clinton or Obama or are you going to stick with the loser Republicans?
